Polymaker PolyLite ASA
Polymaker's tightly QC'd ASA — slightly easier to print than most ASAs
Listed values and ratings are starting points, not verified test results. Formulations, prices, test methods and printer settings vary. Confirm details on the manufacturer page below.
Food-contact suitability cannot be determined from material type alone. Check the exact product's manufacturer guidance and the finished part's intended use.
Printing can release harmful gases and particles. Bambu Lab warns that its ASA may release gases including styrene; use effective ventilation or exhaust, and consult the manufacturer's safety tips and NIOSH guidance. An enclosure alone does not establish adequate ventilation.
Where it shines
Polymaker's tightly QC'd ASA — slightly easier to print than most ASAs.
Common use cases: outdoor, uv-exposed, automotive, structural.
Where it falls short
Same enclosure requirements as all ASAs.
Print profile starting point
- Nozzle temp: start at 250°C and tune ±5°C for surface finish.
- Bed temp: 90°C is usually enough for adhesion; go up toward 100°C if first layer struggles.
- Drying: 80°C for 4 hours is a listed starting point; follow the current manufacturer guidance for your spool and dryer.
- Enclosure: may help reduce warping; follow the manufacturer's guidance. An enclosure does not replace ventilation.
